The African Coalition on Youth, Peace and Security (ACYPS) is a youth-led continental platform dedicated to amplifying the role of young people in peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and security governance across Africa. Formed in alignment with the UNSCR 2250 and the African Union’s Youth, Peace and Security Agenda, ACYPS serves as a central hub for coordination, advocacy, capacity building, and knowledge sharing among national YPS coalitions, youth organizations, regional bodies, and development partners. We envision an Africa where youth are recognized and empowered as key actors in achieving and sustaining peace.
